Hi all I've just bought a 2019 69 plate Cooper S 5 door in Thunder Grey with the standard Nav and Comfort packs. Its my first Mini Ive owned although I have driven¬† a Mini before but that was back in the 1970's ūüėĬ†They seem to have changed a bit over the years, not really mini anymore! I have one question¬† to kick off with and I'd like to know does the nearside¬† door mirror¬† dip in when in reverse on all models or is it only if it has the power folding mirrors that come with the comfort plus pack?

Thanks.

Hi Pete, welcome to FullOnMINIs,

unfortunately being an R56 (2007-2013) owner I have no clue about your query.
some cars require the option to be selected in an internal menu, others just require that mirror selected on the left/right switch.

Hey @Fat Pete Welcome o FULL ON MINIs! Great to have you here.

With your query on the mirror, I believe you are correct, its only for power fold. I regularly check the BMW forums who say the same thing. Ive always found it a bit odd that despite the mirror being attached to a motor that it cant just do it anyway. Crazy Logic.
