After looking through the other builds i thought i'd make my own thread...

Just 14 months ago i bought my 1st MINI and i didn't have any plans at first to modify it and i was pretty new into the MINI and Car Scene tbh due to my 2 previous cars not being mine and therefore unable to do anything to them 😕

Some may know i used to have a Citroen C3 for my first car then i for some unknown reason got a Nissan Juke 😢 i got bored of that so after only working for mini for 6 months i was on the hunt for my own!

This is a couple of photo's when I first drove to Manchester to view and purchase it... after looking for a few weeks, was going to go brand new but didnt want the GPF filter so I was on the hunt for a used!

After this i had it delivered free of charge 4 days after going to view it,

This is when it was delivered

After having the car a couple of weeks i had it booked in for the window tints...

Then came the Private number plate a couple of months later -  L was the only letter available at the time - 21 as was early 21st present - then my initials.

After this then came the Standard JCW Exhaust with the 210 JCW Power Upgrade

I also retrofitted the Union Jack lights this time last year too!

New front number plate holder due to the old fading

Started the de-chrome with the grille surround and door handles

New Side sweeping indicators

Now all left is the belt line - the strip along the grille - Cooper S Badge (Black out Or to remove completely I'm not sure yet) and the Rear MINI Badge

Then after this was getting @the-wheel-specialist Newcastle to Powder coat my wheels black.

Once Lock-down is over I'm looking to getting a thorough valet on it and in the future I'm going to need a bonnet respray due to a lot of stone chips :(

Need some New photos and some drives!

Lowering springs bought and awaiting fitting too!

Not at the minute depending how long I’m off work for, need to get back and get some overtime done as I’ve just paid off my holiday! Will be sometime this year probably, what size mm would people recommend?
