Hissing Sound on R56 Cooper S after turning off the engine

Recommended Posts

I have just had the mini back after having a new turbo and high pressure fuel pump fitted and the car drives great but when shutting off the engine there is a hissing type noise coming from the front of the engine below the turbo. This normally lasts about 5-10 minutes (not exactly sure) is this normal? I am a little over sensitive as like a say the turbo is new??

Hissing sounds a little strange (although I drive a diesel), it sounds nothing like the fan running I'm assuming ?

These do have a secondary water pump that can sound after turning off and lasts until the temp gets to a certain level . My guess is this [emoji5]
