Just need a pair of replacement rear calipers and the car will be driveable again

(the black line is the one for meth)

Where abouts do you have your meth tank ? Boot?

Yep, there's a gallon tank and also the pump

How long does a gallon tank last you? I'm thinking of getting one fitted to vinny

Difficult to say as I only arm the system where the situation dictates. Not that much though

They are a proper faff to get right, but at least it's a diy job. Replacement calipers should be back on tomorrow and you never know, the car may be driveable again but Sunday (fingers crossed)

Replacement rears are now on, after a mild refurb

Only thing left to do is bleed the system. Whichever not particularly looking forward to. Installed some silver front indicator bulbs to rid myself of the 'fried egg' look as well. Stud conversion arrived today (from Rich at Orranje). I now need some open ended wheelnuts. Any suggestions where I can get some as one don't want to pay the earth for them?

Finally back on four wheels. Front discs need a proper skim but at least the big tasks are finished (for now) 327a194aef35abbba22fe361a924af1e.jpg09 ... 24af1e.jpg"><a href=http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/09/07/327a194aef35abbba22fe361a924af1e.jpg' alt='URL>'>

I imagine it would be a lot easier using flexi hoses than trying to fit solid lines and get the bends in all the right places so they sit right

It is easier in some ways but it has its disadvantages. Pro's are no chances of leaks, no corrosion and they look way cool. Cons, you can't follow the original line as you may think due to the hose needing gentler curves than steel. The lines are naturally floppy and need supporting all over. And the biggest problem is there's no off the shelf kit. This means if you measure up and you get it wrong you're on your own

Good luck for the MOT.

Will your tax start on the 1st Oct or be backdated to 1st sept ?

The reason I ask, I need mine taxed on 1st Oct and the DVLA won't be issuing new discs as of 1st Oct

I don't want to bin the tax disc holder, I don't know if I'll get used to not displaying a tax disc

It'll be backdated as I need to have the car on the road for the big mini show otherwise I'd have hung back and gone for monthly direct debit

Bought some high output led sidelight bulbs. Why? You ask... As I'll be tinting my front indicator/sidelight lenses :)

Today I managed to take a photo of the car I'm actually happy with
