Chrome Grill Surround Removal

Hi Guys

 

Just picked up the facelift Chrome Grill Surrounds for the R53, Has anyone removed the lower part without having to remove the bumper?

Nope it's easy to remove bumper only a few bolts hold it on then that lower grill is sort of moulded to the bumper you have to heat the plastic up and cut it to remove the old grill then reheat and plastic weld your new one in :)

It's just the chrome surround i want to remove not the slatted part.

looks like theres clips that just push into place on the back of the new part
