  1. Forgot to add I also fitted a Newman PH2 cam along with St225 injectors and had loaded a custom JCW 210 map. It runs pretty well now, waiting to get it on the rollers sometime to see what it's pushing.
  2. So it's been a little while since I updated this...a few things have been changed since the last update. The KW's were finally fitted R56s calipers/discs etc fitted Corbeau seats fitted Coolerworc shifter fitted Carbon dials and white LED conversion Facelift Xenon's fitted and "joey" modded probably more but I can't remember 😁 Along with some repair work - most recently the clutch slave cylinder failed so had a couple of days swimming around in dot4 fluid trying to get the new one bled...pain in the arse! I've got an aero bumper with smoothed upper grill section and brake ducts along with some vented front wings ready to fit but they need painted first. Probably won't be spending much more this year as got a holiday coming up and a wedding to pay for...but the shopping list at the minute is: New wheels Steering wheel retrim New manifold + tomcat New seats + harnesses Cage New subframes and polybushes all round
  3. Yeah I've got some pb blaster penetrating oil which seems to do a really good job. I've been giving them a soak in that in preparation. Seems like a lot of people do the upgrade to the nut and bolt setup same as the r56 when doing them Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Itching to get them on, pretty much the last of the pile of parts to fit! Hoping the front pinch bolts come out without snapping. Researched a little bit and the kw's all got good reviews and seeing the condition these are in being 2nd hand is a good indication of quality Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah got KW v1's to go on. Got them second hand though so just tidying them up before putting them on. Got compbrake adjustable top mounts to go with them too Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Not sure the ARB has made a massive difference yet, supposedly see the benefits of it when the coilovers are on. It does seem to want to turn in a bit sharper and keep turning instead of pushing forward into understeer. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Making the most of my time off work. Got the hardrace rca's fitted along with the whiteline ARB. Was hoping to have the coilovers sorted so I could fit those at the same time. Possibly have those this week and will crack on with them. Will be looking to get the seats fitted this week too. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/c24ba8d7f10f57df52e543f39a653276.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/395802b28467f8d7640550ca7f7802df.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/d91126104ca90f60d4123c6207d29812.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/61e15c82760ebf89e07c02f8c349d68a.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/e8de9041daf77fef49d8880a23b9b6e9.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180408/6867b5c834ebd2e7b413fe413580f7cf.jpg' alt='URL>'> Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Honestly, it was the longest part of the job trying to find that! Turns out it had dropped into the jack that was pushing the gearbox up and wedged in there! Was glad I found it though, had the throttle body off and did think it had dropped in there [emoji50] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Fitted the vibratechnics gearbox mount today. Got the upper and lower engine mounts too so all sorted now. Wasn't too bad, little bit fiddly, but I dropped a bolt and spent about an hour looking for that! Just got some new seats ready to go in, just need to sort out the runnera/mounts https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180324/ad4f74f1b5074d555e8072b4853cc3f4.jpg' alt='URL>'>https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180324/1657415c276d8c6ae193812a5b0bce85.jpg' alt='URL>'> Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. I'm keen to get out an use mine more, would be up for a meet up sometime get some flights in? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah hopefully - although it is deifintley not a show car. Hoping to tag along to the Kielder trip
  12. haha I like messing about with things! Got an idea of where I want to be with the car so just working towards that
  13. Cost is ridiculous tho, so for the moment I shall be keeping it amateur for now until I’ve the funds. It is an awesome gadget, it’s just finding places to fly without being told off for trespass [emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Yeah tell me about it, I paid for the course and now I am going to have to pay again to complete it fully. Tend to just fly mine in the middle of nowhere - bit annoying when people are flying smack bang in the centre of town etc though
  14. The most recent job was just something I'd been wanting to do for a while. The main interior carpet was blue and I was never keen on it. I've had black matts in since I've had it though so the only bit you could see was behind the front seats and near the handbrake/gear lever. Managed to source a good condition second hand black carpet on eBay so got it swapped over. Was a bit of a pain of a job but that seems to be a recurring theme now, not sure if it's the car or me [emoji23]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180313/7ae822c7f151f6159091ec74f92e89d0.jpg' alt='URL>'> Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah I've done everything myself so far. Going to need to get help with the brake conversion and probably the suspension fitting though. Stud conversion is easy to do. Just make sure the threads are clean and that you have the right loctite. Also do it when you can leave them to set for 24hours before fully torquing the wheel nuts on Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
