    The bus

Unfortunately not because mines one of the other clubbies that's croaked it and that's a works motor. Pull the engine can it bored and decked for £100 and drop the Pistons and rods in yourself.
  3. I wasn't sure until I bolted them on, even the photos don't do it any justice. I'm getting different seats later in the year and thought its best to sell them before everyone runs out of money later in the year! Only had them for 4 months.

    Timing chain

Yeah they can tick but you'd have a lumpy idle if it's knackered. Or atleast mines got a lumpy idle and has a bad solenoid.

    Timing chain

I'm also a mechanic iv just never done a chain on a mini can do corsa blindfolded want to be sure before I tackle it think ill get it done in one night? It's easy enough to do. It's just time consuming. They lock up like the Peugeots, crank locked on flywheel and then clamps down on the cams. I did mine after work took me about 3 hours.

Oh and pull out the dipstick as it runs through the chain guide and will save you 15 minutes of head scratching why it won't bloody come out!

It's one of those jobs if you just take your time it's simple, but I'm a mechanic so my opinion is probably different.

I have done it. The chain itself is simple.. It's everything you have to remove around it when doing it. You can buy n14 locking tools on eBay which I did and it's a case of following instructions.
  13. It's great I love it.. Keeping me entertained at the moment!
